In partnership with Covivo , and EDF’s R&D department, Impulse Partners launched and led a European call to project « Air Quality Challenge »
The objectif ? Identify then test the innovative and sustainable solutions to improve inside air quality. The winners will get the opportunity to experiment / test the project within the EDF and Convivio’s real estate asset.
A sign of a strong dynamism around this issue, numerous SMEs, start-ups and large corporate groups submitted their projects , individually or in groups. The projects submitted cover the entire value chain, from the design to the maintenance, operation and training .
The final jury will took place November 25th. Impulse Partners, Convivo and EDF are delighted to announce the names of the two winning start-ups of the challenge:
- Octopus Lab : created in 2017, the start-up developed INDALO Supervision, a software solution that predicts the next peak of inside air pollution and avoids them, by optimising and controlling intelligently the ventilation, meanwhile improving the building’s energy performance.
- Enerbrain : created in 2014, the start-up offers heating, cooing and ventilation control, thanks to the use of advanced artificial intelligence.
