Who are our clients and our interlocutors?

We work with industrial players in the construction, real estate, industry, city and of course the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem in a more global way: startups, research projects, innovation ecosystems, … We work to create times of exchange with these two worlds. The majority of our clients are historically in France, but our international development has led us to expand to Belgium, Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan and Thailand.

Our clients in the private sector are CEOs, members of Comexes, Innovation, Digital Transformation and CSR departments, and investment fund managers. In the public sector, we work with the Attractiveness or Economic Development Departments of territories, but also with Planning Departments and smart city and sustainable city project teams. We also work a lot with entrepreneurs: startup founders, intrapreneurs, researchers, …

What are our typical missions?

The missions are based on two poles: the animation of our Impulse Labs ecosystem and the accompaniment of the actors of our sectors in the definition and the execution of their innovation strategies.

On the strategy side: in a context of transformation of our economy (use vs. ownership, which disrupts economic models) and of citizens’ aspirations, of environmental pressure, and of massive digitalization of our sectors of activity, our clients need above all to analyze these changes and to evaluate their impact on their organization. We support them in this analysis and encourage them to use innovation as an opportunity, a factor of agility, resilience and even growth. Our clients then ask us to help them define their innovation strategy (objectives and tools) and accelerate their implementation.

In concrete terms, our teams carry out strategic studies, benchmarks, and other due diligences. For example, the mission conducted by Impulse for the French Tech Paris Saclay was praised by the Elysée Palace. The Observatory of Construction Trends has become a must in the construction sector. We are also involved in defining open innovation, intrapreneurship and investment fund creation strategies and in the operation of these strategies: coaching of intrapreneurs, ideation, co-construction of new offers via our startup studio.

On the ecosystem side, our objective is to foster collaborations between traditional players and innovative startups. We decipher the needs of the industry and match them with the solutions of our startups. We map out innovative solutions, provide sourcing for investors and support the various stages of the startup/corporate relationship (discussions, collaborations, investments, etc.). To foster dialogue between these two worlds, we organize startup pitch sessions, thematic webinars, roundtables and are present at major trade shows. It’s exciting to be able to support the best startups in our sectors, and to see their impact on our cities and industries!
